The Canadian Tire Centre is a multipurpose arena home to the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators. Designed to accommodate over 19,000 spectators amassed in four levels of tiered seating, the arena hosts the majority of Ottawa’s concerts, hockey, basketball, skating, and other entertainment events. It is also home to the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame, and contains restaurants, bars, private suites, concession stands, a fitness complex, and several businesses.
Completed using a fast-track design and construction management format, this $170M facility was finished in less than 18 months, with JLR providing a complete range of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering services including contract documentation and administration, and on-site inspection during construction.
