Your Role

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:

  • Manage and execute industrial and mining projects from concept through to completion, including contract administration, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Work directly with mechanical engineers and technologists as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary Project Team to develop PFDs and P&IDs, general arrangements, and select mechanical equipment.
  • Apply fundamentals and engineering tools to design mechanical systems, including, but not limited to, process equipment modification/replacement, pumping systems, industrial HVAC systems, etc.
  • Assist project managers, engineers, and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals and engineering budgets.
  • Complete site reviews during construction and report on observations.
  • Mentor designers and EITs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
