JLR was retained to provide technical design input and transportation impact analysis for the residential community, Blackstone Village, located in the Stittsville area of Ottawa, Ontario. The 3.6 ha of vacant land was developed into a medium-density residential community comprised of 373 units, sited in five blocks. A total of two full movement driveway connections were provided. The study area for network capacity included a total of three intersections that consisted of a mixture of unsignalized and roundabout traffic control.
