Your Role as an Intern Architect:
Your Role as an Intern Architect:
Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As the Intern Architect, your role will include:
- Working on-site everyday alongside an established JLR client.
- Completion of as-built drawings, space planning, site measures, and concept designs.
- Performing office administrative and business development tasks.
- Coordination with JLR architectural team and stakeholder groups, including schedule management and submission of deliverables.
- Conducting field reviews, including populating and updates to various logs/schedules such as daily site reviews.
- Applying the following skills and knowledge in everyday work:
- Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and 3D modelling, with knowledge of primary programs in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
- Strong conceptual design skills in 2D and 3D formats.
- Strong written and verbal communication, along with keen attention to detail and observational skills.
- A thorough understanding of building envelope systems for cold climates in Canada.
- Knowledge of materials and methods and their applications.
This posting is a contract secondment opportunity, estimated to start September 2025 and end in May 2026.
