JLR Emblem
Buildings

From road access to water treatment services, building development to stormwater management, JLR supports Indigenous communities as they plan new infrastructure projects. Long before any construction begins, JLR can do a complete survey of the land under consideration and provide feasibility or capacity studies to use for decision-making purposes by the Chiefs, Elders, and Councils. Following a review of the area, we summaries our finding and provide options that take into consideration safe and sustainable approaches that are in line with cultural teachings and values.

Whether it’s a simple capacity study to determine the potential density of future development, or a full feasibility study to explore new development opportunities and constraints, JLR engages with our clients and listens to their hopes for their expanding community. We do this by offering engaging community consultations that focuses on understanding and uniting shared Indigenous knowledge to develop modern solutions that address present and future needs. We bear in mind the potential operating and maintenance costs of a potential project, so the next generation is not financially burdened by choices made today.
