We’ve opened a role for a talented, enthusiastic person to build upon and lead JLR’s current Innovative Energy Market. You will  provide guidance and mentorship to our teams, help  bring on new clients while serving existing ones and deliver world-class solutions.

What is included in our Innovative Energy Market?

We have a mission to achieve significant energy innovation and decarbonization across a wide number of multidisciplinary projects. Our areas of work include electrical domains, such as solar, batteries, electric fleet charging, and load management, thermal energy domains. such as building energy modeling, fuel switching, heat recovery, and deep energy retrofits; and other unique opportunities in campus, wastewater, grid innovation, and complex energy systems.

We fuel employee knowledge and client design decisions by providing services ranging from advisory support, screening studies, options analysis, engineering feasibility studies, embodied carbon and life cycle cost analysis, funding support, and design services where project goals are decarbonization. In parallel, our energy engineers also support sustainability and decarbonization analysis within both small and major projects across all JLR’s markets.

Your Role

  • Developing, managing, and expanding the client base, partnership base, and business opportunities in the Market.
  • Thinking strategically about current and future opportunities, researching trends, and building short-term and long-term plans for growth.
  • Providing oversight and support to our project managers delivering work in the Market.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing the business and client liaison skills for staff working in the Market.
  • Overseeing marketing strategies and materials, external event participation, and proposal and pursuit material.
  • As a member of the leadership of the organization, working collaboratively with other stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives and ensure positive outcomes for the entire organization.
