Your Role:
Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:
- Working directly with civil engineers, technologists, and other discipline team members as part of an integrated project team.
- Providing technical support during the construction of municipal, development, buildings, industrial, and mining projects, from concept to completion.
- Participating in the preparation of preliminary and final servicing designs of municipal projects including roads, watermains, sanitary, and storm sewer systems.
- Preparing civil design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assisting engineers and technologists with project execution during all project phases.
- Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Participating in the preparation of proposals, reports, specifications, and budget estimates.
- Occasionally visiting sites, and preforming inspection duties for various construction projects within the area.
- Demonstrating organizational, administrative, observational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
