Your Role:
Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:
- Supporting the growth of the Energy Systems Engineering team through external initiatives (business development and marketing) and internal initiatives (mentoring and peer review).
- Acting as energy engineering discipline lead as part of multidisciplinary projects including: zero-carbon building design and deep-energy building retrofit projects.
- Leading and mentoring junior energy engineering team in building energy modelling (using IESve software) and in building energy/carbon conservation measure design.
- Performing peer review of building energy projects.
- Representing JLR and the Energy Systems Engineering Discipline in working with clients to guide, support, and develop project solutions that meet their—and our planet’s—needs.
- Developing improved and more efficient modelling and analysis methodologies for energy project deliverables.
- Organizing the workload of technicians and junior engineers to ensure that project deadlines are met and final deliverables align with client expectations.
