OTTAWA – J.L. Richards & Associates Limited (JLR) is excited to announce the appointment of Theresa Ayre, OAA, as the new Director of Architecture. Theresa succeeds Raimondo Cuda, who has led this market for five years.

Theresa brings nearly a decade of dedication to JLR, where she has built an impressive track record as an Associate, Senior Architect and Guelph Office Manager. Prior to joining JLR, she contributed her design expertise at Thier + Curran Architects (TCA) and Pearce McCluskey Architects. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dalhousie University.

JLR’s architecture team plays a critical role in shaping the built environment across a wide range of sectors. From transforming industrial facilities like ethanol plants and cannabis production hubs to designing institutional spaces such as university residences and municipal water treatment plants, JLR’s architectural services are integral to delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects.
