JLR was retained by a northern Ontario camp and logistics company, who had a local First Nation partnership, for the design of permanent camps and infrastructure for a project in northern Ontario. The construction phase of the project created more than 1,000 jobs and 450 jobs for the 18-year life of the mine when operational.

JLR is proud to have been part of a transformational opportunity for the First Nation, bringing economic benefits to the region while using sophisticated technology and ensuring health and safety for the surrounding communities.

The camps required detailed engineering for the infrastructure items serving the permanent camp (i.e., wastewater system, water system, propane system, and fire water system).
